There were many twists, turns, and detours along the way that led Christopher Blumenshine in his journey to becoming an accomplished and celebrated wedding photojournalist.
With the art and photography training he received at Santa Monica College, Christopher broke into the entertainment industry and landed his first job as a photo editor and assignment photojournalist for Fox networks. It was there that he gained a wealth of knowledge from his mentors and some of the best photographers in the business, catapulting his craft to the next level. This was the first stepping-stone toward launching a flourishing career in wedding photojournalism.

From the West Coast to the Southwest, this successful wedding photojournalist has come a long way in his journey.
As a professional photographer in Tinseltown, Bellissimo Foto’s founder, Christopher Blumenshine, enjoyed the glitz and glamour of photographing Hollywood’s top celebrities. While there are some who thrive on being in the spotlight, behind the lens was exactly where he wanted to be. He was on the sidelines of every main event and at every red carpet extravaganza while America’s favorite stars struck a pose and flashed their best smiles for him.

After many years of a very successful career in star-studded photojournalism, Christopher knew he needed a change of pace from the hectic Southern California lifestyle to spend more time with his young family. He found the perfect place to call home in North Texas, where his life and his photography began to take on a whole new perspective.

Before moving to Dallas, wedding photojournalism was a passion that Christopher Blumenshine dabbled in just for the pure joy of it. He photographed weddings as favors for friends and family. It wasn’t long before he realized that this was where he belonged. Perhaps it was the glow of a young bride as she raised her veil or the nervous excitement of her adoring groom, but he knew that moments like these were so much more meaningful than a hundred pretty actresses in designer dresses. These were the memories that would build a lifetime of love and happiness. Christopher wanted the opportunity to preserve these “happily ever afters.” So he did just that. And the rest, as they say…is history.
