This isn't huge news unless you have a pre-teen daughter, which I do so it wasn't surprising that she insisting on me smuggling her in a duffel bag to meet the 'Fab 3'. After denying about 1,300 'pretty pleases', I convinced her it was impossible for me to take her to work. I think. It's a good thing too. The weather in Dallas was a record low....around 25 degrees. Call time for photographers was at 8PM. Pretty normal for a premiere. The first hour of waiting wasn't that bad. I had dressed in a warm coat and brought a beanie with me just in case. It was the next 4 hours of waiting for the teen heart throbs to show up that tested my internal fortitude. Other photographers had it far worse then I did. Another local photographer and a friend of mine, Peter Larson had nothing but a light coat. I was thinking to myself, "all this for some teenage brothers?!". Blasphomy! Yes, it was 1AM by the time they arrived and if I wasn't on assignment from the Hollywood Reporter, I would have been long gone. By this time, the organized photo line had become more like a paparazzi mass waiting for Britany Spears to exit a Burger King. Pure chaos. I did manage a few shots, including this one that I ended up making a poster for my very happy Jonas Bros. crazy daughter. Needless to say, it was all worth it. :)
