Destination Nebraska...

Here at Dallas Wedding Photos, we don't always shoot in Dallas!   We love destination photography and this wedding in the cool, brisk weather of Nebraska was a thrill to photograph.  Kelly and Brian are a laid back couple who were troopers, along with their bridal party, who battled the elements in order to get some amazing shots.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Janie and Josh Wedding...

What a good looking couple!  I hadn't met Josh up until their wedding day but kept in contact with Janie.  I actually met up with her at the wedding venue to go over the days details.  Speaking of venues, Ashton Gardens is one of the best places I've ever shot a wedding at.  One stop shopping with the Chapel and reception all on the same premises.  Beautiful scenery and really not a bad place to take a photo.  I wish it wasn't a 107 degrees outside because there were so many places to shoot outside!  Janie and Josh were great and really easy going...they are also very much in love and I think the images depict that. -Chris

Evelyn's Bridal shoot...

Evelyn was really fun to photograph.  When I first met her she was reserved, quiet and didn't say a lot, which is fine because we're all sort of like that at times.  I knew that when I was going to photograph her she would be stiff and definitely nervous.  Again, most people are because we're all not models, actors and such so I put on my Sinatra beach hat and did a lot of kidding around with her.  It took a few perspectives but soon after, Evelyn was having a great time and it showed in her photos. Here's a few from the take.

Rebecca & Michael's peruvian wedding...

I had such a blast shooting Rebecca and Michael's wedding.  Rebecca works at my bank,  (shameless plug) First State Bank! lol.... so I already knew here a little bit.   We shot her bridal portraits at the Canals of Los Colinas and after that I really got to know her more on a personal level.  She is such a sweet and easy going person that it made covering her wedding a dream!  At the reception, the peruvian in Rebecca and Michael really showed with some of the best opening dance moves I've ever witnessed at a wedding.  From Michael Jackson to some amazing salsa!  Here are some of the favorites from an amazing day!

Maxim magazine Super Bowl XVL Party...

Maxim sure can throw a party!  Fans lined up to some even turned back as Maxim threw what had to be one of the best Super Bowl parties of the year.  Not a great celebrity turn out but the energy in the place was electric!  Wyclef Jean rocked the house in the wee hours of the morning with his performance of 'Sweetest Girl'.  At least 75 women got on stage with him....it was euphoric...bumped into sweet and kind Erin Andrews, the Island, Revis and many others.  Crazy!
